SpoofScan – FAQ

Short, clear answers about functionality, legal aspects, payments, and data protection. All information without guarantee; not financial advice.

1What is SpoofScan?

SpoofScan is an information and early-warning system for market anomalies on centralized crypto exchanges (Binance, Bybit, MEXC, BingX). It detects patterns such as spoofing, fake depth, wash trading, or quote stuffing and sends real-time alerts directly to Telegram.

2Is SpoofScan financial advice?

No. SpoofScan provides no buy or sell signals and no recommendations. It merely displays suspicious patterns in the market. Full decision-making authority remains with you.

3Does SpoofScan require a BaFin license?

No. SpoofScan is not subject to authorization under the German Banking Act (KWG). Neither § 1(1) (banking business), § 1(1a) (financial services), § 1(1b) (asset management) nor § 1(1c) (crypto custody business) applies. SpoofScan is a pure information service.

4How do I pay for SpoofScan?

Payment is made exclusively in SOL cryptocurrency. Prices are displayed in EUR; conversion uses the current rate. Each invoice is generated with a one-time address.

5Will I receive an invoice?

Yes. Under German law (§ 14 UStG) an invoice is mandatory. SpoofScan issues invoices in EUR even if you pay in crypto. For amounts under €250, a simplified invoice is sufficient, e.g., with your Telegram ID as the customer reference. For amounts from €250, we require the name and address of the invoice recipient (standard invoice in accordance with § 14 (4) of the German VAT Act).

6How secure is my data?

SpoofScan processes as little data as possible. For operating the Telegram bot, only your Telegram ID is stored, along with transaction-related metadata (e.g., hash, amount, time). No profiles are created and no data is shared with third parties.

7How long is my data retained?

Invoice and accounting data are retained for 10 years as required by law. Other data are retained only for as long as necessary to perform the contract.

8How reliable are the alerts?

SpoofScan detects patterns based on order-book and price data. Some market anomalies can be clearly identified (e.g., wash-trading clusters), others only as indications (e.g., covert spoofing tactics). SpoofScan provides indications, not guarantees.

9Is the Telegram chat ID the same as the username?

No. The chat ID is a unique numeric identifier (digits only) for your chat/user. The username is freely chosen and has the format @name.

10How do I find my Telegram chat ID?
  1. Open Telegram and search for @RawDataBot.
  2. Select “Telegram Bot Raw” (@RawDataBot) — logo: a robot holding a shield { "ok": true } on a blue background.
  3. Start the bot: /start (or tap Start).
  4. A JSON output appears. Under chat → id you will find your chat ID (numbers only).
11Where can I find my Telegram username?

In Telegram, open SettingsProfile. Below your phone number you will see the username in the format @….

12Is this a “signal group”?

No. SpoofScan provides anomaly alerts (score + metrics), not “buy/sell now” signals.

13Which exchanges are covered?

At launch: major CEX (e.g., Binance, Bybit, MEXC, BingX). Coverage is continuously expanded.

14How fast do the alerts arrive?

The pipeline is latency-optimized (FRA node, WS-first). Actual latency depends on route/exchange/network load. We track p95 internally.

15Can I cancel?

Yes. No auto-renewal. The month ends automatically without a new payment. You can end access immediately in the bot via /stop (confirmation within seconds).

16Right of withdrawal as a consumer?

Yes, 14 days from conclusion of contract. If you want an immediate start, you confirm in the bot that the right of withdrawal expires when service begins.

17What data do you store?

Only your Telegram ID, language, access status/terms, and the wallet address for payment matching. No tracking tools.
